This family orientated ski resort is one of the gateways to the 4 Valleys ski area (412 km of piste), one of the largest in Europe. The snowpark freestyle centre is famous throughout the Alps. In summer the High mountain pasture of Thyon, situated in the center of a pasture dominating the resort, offers a grand view of the Alps of Valais, Bern and Vaud. The panorama extends over the Val d' Hérens, with in the background the Dam of Grande Dixence then farther the Matterhorn and the Dent-Blanche
