The Intercultural Celebrations of the Mountain in Evolène (CIME) is an international folk dance festival on the mountain thematic, taking place every two years in Evolène, from the 10th to 15th August.
The festival welcomes many groups from all over the world, coming from or representing exclusively mountainous regions through different mountain chains. Uniting traditions, authenticity and festivities, the CIME also propose a mountain folks movie cycle on July, artisanal days and ends with the very famous Mid-Summer Festivity on 15h August in Evolène.
This year, the CIME welcomes again the famous RTS broadcast "Kiosque à musique" on August 12th.
