Aromatic herbs with the Val d’Hérens quality label are picked in locations around the valley known only to the growers. They are meticulously processed and dried in order to guarantee the best possible quality.
Known for their characteristic stinging hairs, which produce a painful rash, nettles were used by our ancestors in the Val d'Hérens to combat fatigue and stimulate the immune system. They are rich in minerals and trace elements: iron and magnesium in particular, but also calcium, phosphorus, potassium, manganese, selenium and zinc. Nettles also contain vitamins A, B, C and K. They have diuretic and draining properties, helping to combat joint pain (rheumatism), lumbago, sciatica and gout. They also have anti-infection qualities. These products have re-established nettles as the flavour of the day, without in any way detracting from their many virtues.

Suggestions for use
To improve your general state of health: sprinkle some dried nettle or nettle salt on all your meals every day.
To combat fatigue: a tablespoon of dried nettle leaves in a litre of hot water. Drink three to four cups of the infusion every day for 21 days. They are an excellent dietary supplement for people who are feeling "run down".
